This is my tattoo which was done by Johnny B. of M.Hollow in June of last year.
It wasn't painful like I expected. Getting the outline done is more irritating to the skin vs. getting the color filled in. The only time I gritted my teeth was when the outline went over a vein. Which lasted 2 seconds. It's probably the only tattoo I'll ever have permanently inked. Though, a black widow would be wicked as a tat. I chose LOSTPROPHETS' symbol of a phoenix because I really, really love the band and also the phoenix is referenced to Jesus. It is immortal because it dies, but from its ashes a newborn phoenix rises. I also like this design of a phoenix the best of any that I've come across.
